Fear and Grief




When we lose someone or a job, it raises a sense of fear. It also increases our anxiety because we are unsure what to do, how we are going to do it, and what is going to happen. The important piece if you are feeling fearful is to seek out someone to share your concerns, let them help you put it all into perspective. When faced with challenges we do not always have the clarity needed to find our way through. Write down your fears then walk away, when you return you may look at your list and realize, this one isn't so bad and I can do this or that. Erasing one fear can relieve the pressure you may be feeling allowing you to tackle the next one.

When we work through our fears it also provides a sense of confidence within allowing us to recognize our capabilities. Finding ourself in an unfamiliar place, we need to try to face our fears and know we can get through this. It just takes tackling one fear at a time and learning self-belief.
