The process of grieving is a journey. There are different steps towards that healing that enable you to rebuild. An important part of healing is allowing yourself the time you need. The time you need is not based on someone elses' timeframe but your timeframe. This is important to remember because if feelings of being rushed are felt, then you will not heal. The process will be rushed, and you'll find that you never feel better.
Grief is a lifelong process; it is not something that goes away, but the grief we feel is lessened through healing. Find some time today to dedicate some "me" time; sit and read a book, meditate and reflect on memories; write a letter or a note; plant seeds to create a memory garden.
