Healing After Loss

Healing after a loss can be a struggle to say the least. We have so many different thoughts of where to begin, what do we do, we feel stuck, numb, disbelief. For couples, there is finding out who we are now, which takes an emotional toll. We now have to find out who we are without our partner as we were always known as a couple vs. as an individual.

If you're able to reflect back to what you enjoyed as an individual, grasp onto that thought and see if that is still an interest. Maybe you wanted a different career, to travel, or maybe you have found a new interest that you were unable to pursue. Utilize this reflection as your first step to healing; a new motivation to help you move forward into your journey.
