Given circumstances it is hard to feel grateful. We are angry, sad, lonely, missing those we have lost. How do we feel grateful when feeling these emotions? We have to dig deep sometimes but we can always be grateful. Grateful for the time we had, the memories, the experience of someone loving us unconditionally. Yes, it is hard to feel grateful, but in finding solace in our memories, we hold gratefulness in our hearts. As we heal, we can feel more grateful and see what we couldn't see before.
