People often say I'm listening, but are they? We know they are hearing but are they truly listening. Listening involves paying attention to what someone is saying, understanding them, and hearing their meaning. When a person needs an active ear to listen to them, be there for them without judgment or trying to tell them what they need. You just need to listen, validate what they are saying because in that moment, that is what they need, a supportive and listening ear. Being the listener is a comfort for the one who needs to express themselves, someone to be there without judgment, a supportive comfort. ~~ Blessings, Cammie
