In the day's hustle and bustle, we often forget to give ourselves the time we need and deserve. Running here and running there, doing for this one, doing for that one. By the time the day is over we're exhausted and eventually we burn out in maintaining this pace. If you set aside 20 minutes for yourself, you can refuel disallowing the burnout feeling. Burnout is feeling tired, irritable, resentful. If you're feeling this way, do for yourself by allowing 20 minutes for YOU time. Meditate, close your eyes and listen to your breathing, relax your mind for going to your happy place. It is important to take care of you.
The airplane analogy tells us that the plane is going down and there is one oxygen mask that falls; next to you can be your child, an elderly parent, or someone that is alone. Who gets the oxygen mask? YOU do, you take a breath and then give it to the person next to you; otherwise, if the plane goes down, who will be left to take care of the person next to you? Remember today that you are Kind, Caring, and Thoughtful. You can't pour from an empty cup. Be Kind, Caring, and Thoughtful to yourself first and then share with others. ~~Many Blessings, Cammie
