Running Laps



Do you feel sometimes that you are simply just running laps and not accomplishing anything? It can appear like this when you are possibly feeling overwhelmed and running out of time. To help in avoiding this feeling, try simple steps to decrease the feelings of overwhelmness by making lists, keeping expectations within reach and only do what you know you can accomplish in a day. When feeling less anxious/overwhelmed, you are able to accomplish more but in a less stressful way. Eventually the feeling of running laps begins to dissipate and a feeling of calm settles in; almost like catching your breath. When you find yourself getting into a situation of running laps, take a step back and focus on what you can accomplish.
