Taking A Break

While working towards your motivational goal, it can be advantageous to take a break. Taking a break can allow for more clarity, identifying a change within the goal, or recognizing you may have missed a step. Feeling you are running out of time in your scheduled goal achievement can cause you to rush where it is likely you can skip a step; even if you feel you are running out of time, it is okay to take that break. Pausing can actually allow you to advance further than rushing through. Sometimes shifting to another task or activity is where that clarity comes from. Think about when you are working on a puzzle and you have searched the pile of pieces and you are unable to see the one needed; walking away to get a drink of water and returning allows for a refreshed view and there is the piece, it was right in front. Remind yourself when you are working on your goals to take a break and gain the clarity to help you reach the final destination. A refreshed mind makes room for achievement. ~~ Blessings, Cammie
