The Gift

What is the first thing you think of when you hear the word gift? Is the image a present wrapped in pretty paper with a matching bow; a pretty bag with tissue paper hiding a nice surprise? What if the gift you receive is not wrapped in pretty paper or inside a pretty bag lined with tissue paper? What if the gift is a message you receive in a conversation held with another? A message received that confirmed your questions carried within your thoughts. We receive gifts every day through our interactions with others; not only do we receive gifts we present them with our words and our actions. These gifts have no monetary value because they are priceless and meaningful because you are unaware of the priceless gift you gave another. As today is kindness Wednesday, present gifts to those you interact with by giving them words of encouragement, words of guidance, and allowing them to smile, but also remember to listen to their words as the gift may be returned. Gifts are presented and received in the most unexpected ways. Be kind, be humble, and have a blessed day. ~~ Blessings, Cammie
